1. Agreement
By accessing or using GarageSync ("the Service"), operated by GarageSync Ltd ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
GarageSync is a cloud-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for garage and automotive workshop management. The Service includes repair tracking, parts inventory management, customer portals, invoicing, payment processing, notifications, and related tools.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one free trial account.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Subscriptions & Payment
- The Service is offered on a subscription basis with plans as described on our Pricing page.
- All plans include a 14-day free trial. No payment is required to start a trial.
- After the trial, your chosen plan will be billed monthly or annually in GBP (£).
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe, PayPal, or GoCardless.
- Prices may change with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honoured until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are not provided for partial months or unused time, except where required by law.
5. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you enter into GarageSync. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, and process your data solely to provide the Service.
Upon account termination, you may request an export of your data within 90 days.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorisation
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Use the Service to send unsolicited communications (spam)
7. Service Availability
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice of planned maintenance where possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable.
- Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data will be retained for 90 days before deletion.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
